Attempts were made in September 2002 to settle the case by mediation however talks between the 2 sides broke down and subsequent attempts to settle out of court have been unsuccessful.

The matter is currently being tried in the High Court in London, the trial commenced on 26 January 2004 and is estimated to last for a period of 4 weeks. Judgement is expected within 3 months of the end of the trial.

The Court has ordered that no further Claimants can join the group. However, if the trial is successful in favour of the Claimants, the Court may give directions with regard to a second group. For now we are merely holding the details of people who have contacted us since 10 December 2003 on file.
