Alexander Harris represented over 200 relatives of victims and alleged victims of Harold Shipman.
We understand that this dreadful case touched upon and affected the general public as a whole, the community of Hyde, and the relatives of the victims and alleged victims of Shipman.
The public Inquiry was an important way for the families and the general public to explore why and how a family GP was able to carry out such dreadful crimes, and establish those systems that should have been in place to prevent this terrible sequence of events from occurring.
We hope that in the future lessons will be learnt from this Inquiry and systems put in place to prevent this from ever happening again.
