The Legal Marketing Awards 2004 - Marketing team of the Year.

At the prestigious Legal Marketing Awards 2004 in London, the firm scooped 'Marketing Team of the Year'. The team were recognised for providing invaluable support to the entire firm across the spectrum of marketing, PR, client care and training seminars.

Celebrating a hat trick the firm also picked up 'Best Website' and Emma Smith who heads the team came runner up in 'Marketing Director of the Year'.

The Law Society Awards 2003

Alexander Harris was nominated as a finalist for Niche Firm of the Year in The Law Society Awards, which recognises the firm's significant contribution to the legal profession and client care. The short list was decided upon firms, which had shown imagination, dynamism and clear strategic thinking, as well as presence far greater than the firm's physical size. In particular Alexander Harris have provided 'added value' to client care and provided new initiatives such as the media management department, which manages clients expectations in relation to the media.

The Lawyer awards are the highest-profile ceremony in the year and aim to set the benchmark for excellence within the profession.

The Law Society Gazette's Centenary Awards 2003

Alexander Harris were short-listed along with 2 other firms for the Best Marketing Campaign in The Law Society Gazette Centenary Awards 2003. The nomination recognised the most innovative, creative and inspiring marketing campaigns in 2003 and was based upon the successful development of our website and 'Handling with Care' branding. The awards sought to 'recognise significant contributions to the legal profession' and were in celebration of 100 years of the Gazette.

The Legal Marketing Awards 2003

Alexander Harris recently triumphed in two categories at the national Legal Marketing Awards 2003.

Nominated in two categories, the firm fought off competition from some of the largest law firms in the country and were declared winners in one category and runners up in a second at the gala awards ceremony held at Madame Tussaud's.

Alexander Harris were successful in the highly contested category 'Best Website'; an impressive achievement considering the other leading international law firms nominated. Latest figures indicate that the usage of www.alexanderharris.co.uk has almost tripled in the last year, attracting in excess of 600,000 hits in the last month alone.

In addition the firm came runner up in the 'Best Marketing Initiative' category for its highly successful 'Handling with Care' campaign. This unique branding initiative highlights the importance of client care within the firm at every level.

The Birmingham Law Society Awards 2004

Alexander Harris was nominated for the Pro Bono Award in the Birmingham Law Society Awards in 2003 & 2004. The nomination recognises significant contribution to the community and in particular commends the firm's involvement in the multi-party action involving Leicester children misdiagnosed by epilepsy. The case involves an investigation into Dr Holton, consultant paediatrician at the Leicester Royal Infirmary who is accused of misdiagnosing epilepsy in hundreds of children and prescribing dangerous drugs in one of the worst cases of misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment with anti-epileptic medication. The firm represents the Steering Group of the Leicester Epilepsy Carers Parents Concern Group on a pro-bono basis, which represent the interests if over 400 parents.

E-Lotties 2003

Alexander Harris was shortlisted for Best Website in the E-Lotties 2003. Organised by In Brief magazine the inaugural awards recognise the use of technology and e-commerce by law firms and legal services providers in developing business and attracting new clients.
