Since the withdrawal of Vioxx in October 2004, Alexander Harris has been investigating claims from patients that they have suffered adverse side effects as a direct result of taking the drug. These side effects include cardiovascular problems such as heart attacks and strokes. Other reported complications have also included epilepsy and in some cases death.
Vioxx Legal investigations
Alexander Harris is currently conducting thorough investigations into Vioxx and is in contact with many British patients who were prescribed the drug as a painkiller often for arthritis.
Vioxx patients
It is thought that many UK patients who were prescribed Vioxx and who have suffered complications still haven't come forward. It is estimated that 400,000 British patients were on the drug. Anyone who is experiencing health related problems having taken Vioxx should seek medical assistance immediately.
