Mr A had surgery to repair his eardrum and improve his hearing. Following negligent surgery he became totally deaf in one ear and the severity of the tinnitus he suffered before his operation increased. As a result Mr A had to retire earlier than he had planned and a clinical negligence specialist settled his claim for £48,000.
