Army Compensation Claim for Injury
An out of Court settlement was obtained on behalf of a former T.A Corporal who was injured in a road traffic accident in Iraq when he sustained back and knee injuries while providing top cover in an open topped landrover. The accident was due to driver error and liability was admitted on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
The assessment of compensation was complicated by the claimant's pre existing knee condition and an injury during his rehabilitation which resulted in his medical discharge from the TA.
