The Inquest into the death of Luke Winston-Jones has been postponed due to a delay in finalising expert medical evidence, which will be heard at the Inquest. It is expected that a new date will be fixed on the 25th of February and the Inquest will take place within the next four to six weeks.
Solicitor Muiris Lyons, of Alexander Harris, who represents Ruth Winston-Jones said: "Luke's mother, Ruth and his family continue to have grave concerns about the events leading up to Luke's death and are determined that the Inquest will fully and properly explore their concerns. They recognise that the decision to postpone the Inquest will allow more time for relevant evidence to be obtained."
This case is the subject of a Coroner's Inquest it would not be appropriate for Ruth or anyone else connected with Luke and his family to comment further to the media on the issues it will address.
