A GMC panel will determine whether or not a doctor should be struck off the medical register after two women were left with permanent scarring on their faces following laser treatments on their skin.
The panel found Mr Mahfouz guilty of charges including failure to properly administer a local anaesthetic and operating without due care and attention.
The panel will decide whether the failings will result in him losing his license to practice.
