A teenager who has suffered an adverse reaction to a hair dye has instructed health specialists Alexander Harris to act on her behalf. Lora Terry, from Surrey suffered within hours of using the Clairol 'Nice n' Easy' hair colorant manufactured by Proctor and Gamble. She experienced breathing difficulties and developed blisters round her hair line. Five weeks on she still has a severe rash all over her body and blisters where the product came into direct contact with her skin. She visited her GP several times.

Lora's Mum, Julie expressed concern that such a product that is so commonly used could have such a severe effect. Lora is currently studying for her A Level exams and the incident has greatly affected her.

Solicitor Angela Davies said: "This has had an unimaginable effect on Lora and her family. Lora has been suffering with incredible pain and discomfort on a daily basis for more than 7 weeks with very little sign of improvement in her condition. The long term effects of Lora's adverse reaction to this product are unclear. We will be focussing our attention to helping Lora to get the best possible medical treatment and advice at the earliest opportunity."
